DAY 2 | Flight to Cusco & Scenic Drive to the Sacred Valley
This morning, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Cusco. As you fly inland, enjoy dramatic views as Peru’s desert coastline rises into the snow-capped peaks of the Andes Mountains.
Upon arrival, your private guide will meet you and begin a scenic journey through the Sacred Valley of the Incas. En route, we stop at a traditional Andean textile center, where you’ll encounter South American camelids and learn about ancestral weaving techniques.
We continue to the Pisac Archaeological Site, renowned for its impressive Inca terraces and sweeping valley views. Afterwards, explore the charming colonial town of Pisac, wandering its colorful artisan market—a vibrant cultural experience filled with local crafts, traditions, and daily life.

DAY 3 | Moray, Maras Salt Mines & Ollantaytambo
We begin the day around 8:00 a.m., heading first to Moray, a fascinating Inca agricultural laboratory made up of concentric circular terraces used for crop experimentation.
Next, visit the iconic Maras Salt Mines, where hundreds of salt pools cascade down the mountainside. Here, you’ll have time to purchase unique varieties of artisan Andean salt.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant with stunning views of the Andes, surrounded by dramatic peaks and glaciers.
In the afternoon, explore the majestic Ollantaytambo Archaeological Complex, walking through its original Inca streets and visiting its ceremonial and religious sector—one of the most important sites in the Sacred Valley.

DAY 4| Machu Picchu – The Lost City of the Incas & Cusco
Early in the morning, transfer to the Ollantaytambo train station to board the PeruRail Vistadome Train to Aguas Calientes. From there, a shared bus takes you up to the legendary Machu Picchu, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Built around 1450 and mysteriously abandoned about a century later, Machu Picchu remains one of the world’s most awe-inspiring archaeological wonders. During your guided tour (approx. 3 hours), explore highlights such as the Temple of the Sun, Sacred Plaza, and Priest’s House, all set within a breathtaking mountain landscape.
After the visit, return to Aguas Calientes for lunch, then board the return train to Ollantaytambo. From there, continue by private vehicle to Cusco, the historic capital of Peru.

DAY 5 | Cusco – Half-Day City Tour
Today, discover Cusco, the legendary Imperial City and former capital of the Inca Empire, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The half-day city tour may take place in the morning or afternoon, depending on your preference.
Visit the Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), the most sacred Inca site, renowned for its advanced engineering and fusion with Spanish colonial architecture. Continue to the Cusco Cathedral, a masterpiece of colonial art and history.
Then explore the impressive archaeological sites surrounding the city:

DAY 6 | Rainbow Mountain
We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at approximately 4:00 a.m. in comfortable tourist transportation. We will then begin our journey south, traveling through spectacular Andean landscapes and traditional highland communities.
After approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes of travel, we will stop at a local restaurant to enjoy a nutritious breakfast. After breakfast, we will continue our journey for approximately 1 more hour by car until we reach the trailhead.
Upon arrival, your professional official guide will provide a brief safety briefing and important recommendations for hiking at high altitude. We will then begin our trek through the impressive high-Andean landscape, surrounded by dramatic valleys, mountain peaks, and, depending on weather conditions, views of glaciers and local wildlife such as alpacas and llamas.
Once we reach the Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca) viewpoint, you will have free time to admire the spectacular scenery, take photographs, and learn from your guide about the mountain’s geological formation and cultural significance.
After enjoying the viewpoint, we will begin our descent back to the trailhead. Upon arrival, we will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and have some time to relax before beginning our return journey to Cusco.
We will then travel back to Cusco, enjoying the beautiful Andean scenery along the way. We expect to arrive at your hotel between 5:00 and 5:30 p.m., depending on road and traffic conditions.

Our first stop is Huaca Pucllana, an impressive pre-Inca ceremonial and archaeological complex located in the modern district of Miraflores. From there, we continue to Lima’s Historic Center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We visit the iconic Plaza de Armas, surrounded by magnificent colonial buildings adorned with traditional wooden balconies, including the Government Palace, Lima Cathedral, Archbishop’s Palace, and Municipal Palace.
Inside the Lima Cathedral, completed in 1649, admire its grand interior, religious artwork, and the tomb of Francisco Pizarro, founder of Lima.
